MSD and MCC's Volleyball Teams group shot

The Michigan School for the Deaf's volleyball teams have been collaborating with the Mott Community College (MCC) Bears volleyball team. During camp we visited twice. The teams came together and learned some MCC drills and are making connections. This is a collaboration that has been in the works for a while and a couple of MCC Bears have even begun taking ASL classes due MSD inspiring them to do so, including their assistant coach, Tessa Szamiel. MCC Bears coach Eric Lazowski has reached out to USA Deaf Volleyball to start to collaborate as well. This is a great way to get our young athletes motivated for both MSD and MCC. We look forward to continuing this collaboration!
