Two children eating lunch outdoors

To help parents make ends meet, community sites such as libraries, YMCAs, community centers, and school districts in your area are providing children ages 18 and under with delicious, nutritious meals this summer.

Summer Meals connects people through shared meals. When we come together to eat healthy meals through Meet Up and Eat Up, our community benefits. For this reason, we ask that meals be consumed on-site, except for the meals provided through the SUN Meals To-Go Rural Non-Congregate program (more details about this program can be found below). Come grab a meal and meet your neighbors!

This year, more sites have been added to serve children in rural areas. If you live in a community where Summer Meals are hard to access, some locations provide Summer Meals To-Go

through the Rural Non-Congregate program. These are meals you can pick up, usually once a week, and they include meals for each day of the week.

You’ll never have to pay for these meals. Just show up and enjoy!
